Meet Giang Pham (Giang Be), our senior wedding planner and a mother of two adorable twin boys. Born a Saigon native, she spent her youth & adulthood challenging herself across different continents: from studying in the United Kingdom, to working in Singapore and later relocating to Hanoi. Giang always dedicates herself to discovering and incorporating her clients’ unique characters into each wedding, while staying true to the way they would want their stories to be told. Utilizing her background in business development and customer services alongside her taste for finer things, Giang never fails to deliver exquisite wedding experiences. Oftentimes, she will tear up with our couples on the wedding day!

“Dear all my clients and readers,

My name is Giang Pham (often dearly referred to as Giang Bé) and I am a senior wedding planner at The F Lab.

Every time others learn of what I do for a living, many would ask how I got my start and why I have the motivation to keep at it over the years. So I would like to start this letter by sharing a little bit about my connections to my work.

I have always believed that this job found me and urged me to try it. I met Giang Bui, the founder of The F Lab, at a close friend’s wedding back in 2020 in Cam Ranh while attending as a guest. We agreed to meet up for coffee afterwards and ended up chatting nonstop, as naturally as old friends would. We shared about our respective work and our personal lives without reservation, so much so that I often look back and joke that I was unintentionally interviewed, but somehow landed a real job offer. At that time, F Lab was going through a system overhaul and updating their working processes. Coincidentally, this aligned with the work I was doing at my previous job so even as a new hire, I was immediately looped into this restructuring process. It was at this point that I learned a lot about the company’s culture and values. Thus, I found myself wanting to grow further with this team.

As for my motivation to stay and contribute more each year – it is thanks to the constant efforts I see from our team, the incredible milestones we achieve together (sometimes even far beyond our own expectations), and our past clients’ love letters. Their words always touch me deeply, because they show appreciation not only for the results, but for the entire process. At The F Lab, we have a rule: to always treat every wedding as its own, unique event, regardless of how much experience we have. Each couple has their own love story, which deserves to be told in a way that feels right for them, and this differs greatly from person to person. I love to find ways to bring our clients’ journey to life and see them as the happiest, most beautiful versions of themselves.

There are two specific letters I remember most: one from a past client, and one from a vendor after a year of working together. In the first letter, my former bride reminisced about the entire preparation process during which we spent countless hours together. She remembered even the specific spot where she stood on stage, and she mentioned how her mom still asked about me every time they met. She signed off thanking the universe for bringing me to her. In the second letter, the partner wrote that collaborating with us was one of the nicest things that happened that year and it was always a joy to see each other’s growth from project to project.

I’m so beyond grateful, because every time I meet a new client, I get a chance to observe, to listen, and to learn about them. Every encounter brings new tales and inspirations, and it is these unique stories that magically give our “standard processes” incredibly different yet amazing results. I found this job opportunity through a “meet cute” and it keeps me excited every day, because I get to experience so much while working alongside my talented colleagues. It is such a joy & privilege to witness the growth of both my little family & the business I’m working for at this present moment. I hope to keep at this job and give more couples the best possible beginnings, so that they can always be as happy as the day they found one another.
