Classic Vietnamese townhouses are known for their geometric forms and depth, but if not handled with care, the space can feel tight and closed in. With Kien's family residence, we wanted to create an open, welcoming feeling while incorporating his favorite Chinoiserie aesthetic.

The palette we chose consists of the classics - white & royal blue - with hints of green, orange, and yellow. These additions add pops of color and brightness to the space, as well as give a nod to Portuguese ceramics, an icon of Portugal, the place where the groom proposed to the bride.

We opted for a modern welcome board arrangement instead of a traditional flower gate to give the residence a unique first impression. As for the main stage, an assorted selection of vases adorned with vibrant florals bring sophistication to a minimalistic white backdrop.      

Every little detail, from the printed table runner to trios of chinoiserie mini vases as table centerpieces, brings touches of culture to the sacred ceremony. A decoration concept that "marries" the contemporary and traditional could not be more perfect for Kien and Huong's celebration. Let this beautiful day set the tone for your wonderful journey ahead!
